and it took more work than I expected

If you’ve been following the channel for a while, you’ll know I’m always trying to make the tutorials easier to follow along with — especially when a project has multiple steps, assets, and moving parts.

So here’s the update: IAMSTULITTLE now has a Free Membership. It gives you access to member-only download pages where you can grab the exact project assets used in selected tutorials, plus companion blog posts that break things down in more detail.

Why I built it

The idea is simple: everyone works from the same starting point.

Instead of throwing random download links around the internet, I wanted one clean place where you can:

A quick behind-the-scenes (the honest version)

I thought this would be a quick “add a download link” job. It wasn’t.

To make it work properly, I had to build a system where the free content lives in one place, the access rules behave correctly, and the pages don’t feel like a generic “access denied” screen.

That meant testing login states, fixing the odd glitch (because software loves drama), and designing the pages so they feel calm and intentional. The goal wasn’t just to gate downloads — it was to make the whole experience feel simple from your side.
